Satisfactory
Snow chains, although booked was not provided and we only discovered this later. Even though we did not actually need it, it but would have been inconvenient if we had.

On arrival at airport, service was pretty poor. We were asked for more money and then found the car was not full of petrol

The rental car was great, I want a 4WD now.
The staff at Europcar were very helpful considering I made a mistake and booked our tickets to Christchurch instead of Queenstown. We had a lovely couple of drives through the country. I was impressed that the car had roofracks and that there were chains in the boot.

Ski racks and chains a little dodgy
Car was nice and clean. One of the chains was difficult to fit, we were told we should buy new ones, so maybe Europcar should buy new ones. The ski racks were difficult to shut and no key supplied so we could lock the racks.
